Low Moor Company appears to have been registered in the Colony on the 27th of January 1879. An application for the transfer of such registration into the name of the Low Moor Door Company Limited will be referred at the same time to the Governor and a question arises as to the fees to be charged for it. Care has not been specified in the Schedule of Fees under the local Ordinance.
His Lordship is not aware what amount will be claimed by the Colonial Judge. It may therefore be well for you, to prevent any delay in the Registration, to lodge £10,8s,4d. (representing the highest amount chargeable in the case of a fresh registration) with the Crown Agents for the Colony, on the understanding that the difference (if any) will be refunded to you, when the amount to be charged is settled or fixed.
